Year in review: Custom furniture crafted for homes & commercial spaces
As the year comes to a close, I like to slow down and reflect on the work done in the shop. More importantly, I think about the people, stories, and moments behind each piece. This year was one of growth, gratitude, and a continued commitment to doing things the right way.

We focus on building by hand, with intention and pride. Every piece is made to last and to be passed down through generations. In a world of shortcuts and mass production, we’re proud to continue building pieces that take time.
The stories around the table
One of the most rewarding parts of this year wasn’t just delivering finished furniture. It was seeing how those pieces became part of your everyday lives.

Family dinners, holiday gatherings, and quiet mornings all happened around tables built in our shop. These aren’t just tables. They are gathering places. They are where memories are made.
Growth without compromise
This year also brought growth—more inquiries, longer lead times, and clients from across the country trusting us with their homes. With that growth came a continued promise to never sacrifice quality for speed.

We refined processes, improved logistics, and stayed focused on what makes House of Timber what it is: craftsmanship, honesty, and personal service from start to finish.
Expanding Into hospitality spaces with custom commercial furniture
One of the biggest highlights of the year was the increase in orders for commercial spaces. We worked with restaurants, golf resorts, and luxury hotels throughout the year.

Business owners came to us looking for custom commercial furniture that could handle daily use. They also wanted pieces with warmth, character, and timeless design. We delivered handcrafted tables and benches that stood apart from mass-produced options.
Commercial projects bring unique challenges. These builds often require tighter timelines, larger quantities, and specific durability needs. Even so, our standards never changed. Solid wood construction, strong joinery, and quality finishes remained essential.
Seeing our furniture used in shared spaces has been incredibly rewarding. These are places where people meet, work, and connect. Well-made furniture truly belongs there.
Gratitude above all
To every client who placed an order, left a review, recommended us to a friend, or simply followed along—thank you. Supporting a small, independent woodworking business truly means the world to us, and it never goes unnoticed.

I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to keep doing work we love, in the shop, building with our hands, and creating furniture that will live in your homes for generations.
Looking ahead
As we step into the new year, we’re excited for what’s ahead: new builds, new designs, and new families gathering around custom tables made just for them.
From our shop to your home—thank you for being part of our journey.
Here’s to another year of building something that lasts.
